Bio

Harold is a multifaceted individual with a rich history.

A devoted husband and father of three, he has also dedicated over 34 years to fire rescue, rising from a probationary member to Fire Chief. His career has further extended to roles with FEMA and HHS, and he is a founding member of the Department of Homeland Security, serving over 23 years with the National Disaster Medical System.

Harold's connection to the printing industry began in his youth when his parents opened Germantown Copy Center. He has worked at the company intermittently over the years, gaining experience in delivery, bindery, and operating various printing presses, including the revolutionary Heidelberg DI 4cp digital plating press introduced in 1998. He balanced these responsibilities while simultaneously responding to fires and disasters.

When his parents decided to retire, Harold assumed the role of manager and later director of operations. In 2020, he became a part-owner and oversaw daily operations. Following the sale of the Germantown location in 2021, he embarked on a search for a new home for the company. After an extensive search, he found the perfect location in Frederick, MD, a space over 50% larger in a growing area.

Recognizing the need for a new identity in the Frederick market, Harold initiated the process of rebranding to GCC Printing & Graphics while preserving the familiar GCC acronym and branding elements. He redefined GCC to stand for Government, Commercial, and Consumer printing and graphics.
